DELE Exam (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is an official test from the Instituto Cervantes that permanently certifies your level of Spanish as a foreign language. It is offered on specific dates and has exams tailored to each level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) from A1 to C2, evaluating skills such as reading and listening comprehension, as well as oral and written expression.
SIELE Exam (Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española) is a digital test that certifies your Spanish level through a score based on the four language skills—reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, and oral expression—and assigns a CEFR level between A1 and C1. It is taken on flexible dates, and the certificate is valid for five years.
